Our Drinks Reception Locations

Situated in the Zellig Building just opposite The Old Library you will find the two locations you can choose from for your drinks reception.

Both locations are beautiful in their own unique way - whatever your vibe you will be sure to gravitate towards either The Nomad or The Dome.

The Nomad

A relaxed, quirky and interesting space - there’s always something new to discover in The Nomad. Being right at the heart of the Zellig community as the reception for the building means that it is a hub for the creatives and independent business owners of Digbeth. The Nomad has plenty of nooks for seating your guests as well as standing space. We recommend this location for receptions of less than 80 people.

The Dome

A beautiful, bright and open space - the gallery walls of The Dome will be sure to intrigue your guests as they get to enjoy collections from some of the best artwork on display in Birmingham. The Dome is the home for Digbeth Art Space and gets it name from the stunning glass dome ceiling right in the centre. The Dome has less seating than The Nomad but is a larger space, so we recommend it for receptions larger than 80 people. More seating can always be provided on request.

 

Due to both the The Nomad and The Dome being shared locations with other businesses, we cannot guarantee that your preferred location will be available on your selected date. However, we will always be able to accommodate your drinks reception in at least one of these locations.

The Nomad and The Dome are not exclusive use areas - both are open to the public. We will do our best to guide members of the public away during your drinks reception.
